Join us for an exciting online event where we delve into the world of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and explore the question, “Who is responsible?”
On Friday, November 10, 2023, starting at 13:30 GMT, we will bring together industry experts and environmental enthusiasts to discuss the carbon-related responsibilities of various stakeholders in the building industry.
The session will cover the following:
- The Essence of Responsibility: Understanding the pivotal roles of various stakeholders in driving sustainable building practices and carbon assessments. Do design team formats need to be changed?
- Accountability in Action: Discovering how carbon accounting is currently undertaken among stakeholders. Are our current approaches the most suitable for achieving carbon reduction at scale?
- Policy and Compliance: Delving into how LCAs will be required for policy adherence and compliance by Local Authorities. How is the UK faring compared to the rest of the world?
The session will be moderated by Domain Expert, Keir Regan-Alexander, with a group of panellists who are experts in various industry professions. Our panellists so far include:

Each panellist will share their unique perspectives, shedding light on the collective effort required to uphold responsibility and accountability in navigating the complex landscape of Building LCA.
