Terrawind: Passive Design Exhibition, is an exhibition to present some selected projects of Interior Architecture Students of Shiraz university of arts, concerning climatic design solutions in different cities of Iran. Eight kinds of windcatchers models, nine passive houses, and four final projects are selected to present in one of Shiraz traditional houses.
Historic parts of Shiraz contain many Qajar houses which are nice examples of responsive and beautiful architecture, like other traditional houses around the world. They can be very inspiring for academic and professional architects. We are trying to make more interaction between traditional context, architects, and students by developing such activities in this context.
The exhibition will be open in one of Shiraz tradicional houses for 3 days.
