ReLondon is a partnership of the Mayor of London and the London boroughs to improve waste and resource management in the capital. ReLondon is working as part of a consortium with four other cities on a Horizon-2020 funded programme called ‘Circular Construction in Regenerative Cities’. As part of this programme, ReLondon wishes to build a ‘Materials Exchange Portal’ to:

  1. Enable users to find materials available for reuse that can be used in their construction projects, and,
  2. Enable existing platforms to extend the reach of their listings of reusable materials for use by others in the City

In order to build a tool with the best user experience, we are running a series of online workshops to understand your needs when searching for surplus construction materials – whether this be to sell or to buy them. The objective of the workshop is to fully scope and understand your needs and priorities, as users of the future online portal, in order to build a valuable tool in the long term which will increase the reuse of construction materials and circular economy practices.
