Inside the Circular Economy: Africa is an interactive learning programme focused on the circular economy in Africa, which will be held online over six weeks. We aim to inspire circular economy enthusiasts across the African continent to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

Inside the Circular Economy: Africa 2022

The six-week online programme will take from 18th April to 27th May 2022, and is open to anyone based in Africa who would like to learn more about the circular economy.

Inside the Circular Economy: Africa is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to bring greater purpose to their work or research and want to become circular economy advocates and catalysts on the African continent.

Participants will explore the concepts, principles, and practical applications of the circular economy through:

  • Webinars led by the Foundation’s experts and guest speakers from Africa and beyond

  • Peer-to-peer learning

  • Networking sessions

  • Access to resources

  • The opportunity to join a community of circular economy enthusiasts on the African continent

Every week, we will discuss a different aspect of the circular economy, looking at Africa-specific examples. Topics will include food systems, cities, design, plastics, and fashion.

The weekly webinar will be every Tuesday at 3PM GMT+1:

Tuesday 19th April: What is the Circular Economy?

Tuesday 26th April: Circular Design

Tuesday 3rd May: Plastics and Fashion

Tuesday 10th May: Cities and Mobility
