Improving the energy efficiency of our homes and making them healthier must go hand-in-hand. While decarbonising our homes is critical to reach our climate targets, health risks from poor indoor air quality, insufficient light, damp, and noise pollution must also be addressed.

The HHI Forum, which is led by a steering group, meets twice yearly. Its aim is to positively influence public policy by bringing together all stakeholders to consider how we address the health problems caused by existing low-quality homes and ensure there is no compromise between health and energy efficiency in new build homes. There are further details about HHI here: https://www.igbc.ie/healthy-homes-ireland-launched/.

The event is taking place at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin, running from 9.30am to 1pm with registration from 9am. Buffet lunch will be provided.
