Natalie Douglas is the Program Manager at the Zero Emission Building Exchange (ZEBx) in Vancouver, Canada. Here she works to bring industry and local government together to accelerate building decarbonization. In her previous role as the Climate Resilience Planner at the City of Nelson, Natalie worked to elevate the topic of embodied carbon emissions through research, program development, and education. She has spent much of the past five years utilizing her multidisciplinary expertise to foster holistic and pragmatic initiatives aimed at reducing GHG emissions associated with the built environment and drawing more attention to the connection between consumption and climate change (i.e., consumption based emissions).
