Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candidate to fulfil a role in our Singapore office as a Sustainability Consultant. This role will be reporting to our Sustainability Leader working across multiple sectors within the East Asia region based in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be working in a professional global consultancy, working closely with our multidisciplinary engineers and consultant teams. We have excellent career development programs and training opportunities to ensure you can grow into the best version of you.

The responsibilities of this key role will include:

  • Carry out sustainability advisory projects and green certifications projects
  • Provide guidance to Clients on sustainability advisory and building performance analysis
  • Carry out building physics analysis for built environment and city planning projects
  • Provide support to the Senior Consultant and Sustainability Leader in delivering advisory projects and growing the Sustainability and Carbon Advisory business.
  • Management and co-ordination of carbon advisory and green building assessments such as GRESB, Green Mark, LEED and WELL.
  • Work in collaboration with multi discipline teams to deliver sustainability and environmental outcomes on projects.
  • Work closely with other MM regional and international offices.
  • Mott MacDonald is actively pushing the boundaries in our Digital solutions, and part of the role will be to ensure that we continue to integrate digital solutions into the way we deliver our work.

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Architectural or Engineering related fields.
  • Have a keen interest and enthusiasm for sustainability in buildings and infrastructure.
  • Be a versatile, quick thinker and show willingness and ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Agile and collaborative, leveraging expertise from others when needed.
  • Enjoy a client-facing role with proven track record in managing projects and clients.
  • Be a Green Mark AP, LEED AP and preferably WELL AP with project experience.
  • Well-versed and understand the technicality of building physics analysis to drive discussion and propose solutions to Clients
  • Relevant industry accreditations in Green Mark, LEED, and WELL will be looked upon favourably
