Senior Digital Marketing Executive/

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive in our Digital Marketing team. In this role you will support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager with the execution of the Foundation’s email marketing vision and the growth of our podcast product/audience.

Collaborating closely with other teams and working groups within the Foundation to ensure email marketing needs are covered across the Foundation. We believe in the importance of testing and thorough analysis, so you will be involved in preparing reports on emailing and podcast activities on a monthly and quarterly basis and as required for campaigns.

Specific role responsibilities include:

Email Marketing

  • Plan and manage email marketing campaigns distributed to different audience groups ensuring the design and layout of emails is optimised, user and mobile friendly.

  • Manage the Foundation’s email marketing lists and overall database’s health.

  • Manage the email Marketing calendar according to the Foundation’s priority and audience needs.

  • Work closely with a range of stakeholders across the organisation to develop and implement robust email marketing user journeys and email automation for audience groups.

  • Support the development of processes and rules for email marketing activities across the Foundation alongside implementation of new tools, ways of working or strategic priorities.

  • Implement emailing best practice whilst spotting opportunities and trends in the email marketing field.

  • Optimise on opportunities to grow our emailing databases using available marketing channels.

Podcast Distribution

  • Be responsible for the creation, coordination and implementation of the Foundation’s podcast distribution plans. This would include ensuring the podcast is featured in media and distributed on first and third party channels to reach our targeted audience.

  • Implement podcast distribution best practice while spotting opportunities and trends in the podcast distribution field.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Continuously test and learn to improve future campaigns and strategies for both the Foundation’s podcast and email marketing activities.

  • Gather and analyse data around our podcast and newsletter performance reviewing progression towards KPI on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Your profile:

  • 3+ years’ relevant work experience in email marketing and database management is essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Digital Marketing or related fields is desirable but not essential.

  • Skilled in using an ESP and/or CRM to build and schedule emails, as well as create targeted customer segments.

  • Exposure to building automated/triggered email campaigns.

  • Experience or interest in learning SQL to support better customer segmentation.

  • Strong analytic skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent English copywriting and communication skills

  • A rigorous understanding of GDPR.

  • Confident and strong collaborator, demonstrated ability working with diverse stakeholders.

  • Great communication, organisational and teamwork skills.

  • Aware of the importance of first-party data collection.

  • Curiosity towards email best practices and industry trends.

Desired starting date: 27th March 2023

Closing date: 14th March 2023

Salary range: £33,000 – £36,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Location: UK based with regular attendance at our office in Cowes, Isle of Wight (subject to individual circumstances).
