Atkins’ Transportation Climate Change Advisory team is supporting clients to respond to climate change, one of the most technically demanding and time critical challenges being faced across the globe.  We are looking to recruit new team members who understand the scale of the challenge and who want to work collaboratively to develop climate change mitigation and adaptation solutions across all modes of transport.

You will be required to work with others to design, deliver and manage multi-disciplinary projects, and to continually challenge our offer to ensure that our advisory services remain at the cutting-edge.

Your purpose

• Help transportation clients make the right strategic and sustainable decisions to reduce climate risk and vulnerability and enhance resilience.
• Support clients across all transport modes and lifecycle stages to enhance climate resilience and adaptation.
• Develop technical climate change adaptation and resilience strategies.
• Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects for a variety of clients across a range of climate change specialisms.
• Identify business development opportunities and explore new service lines in the climate change space, across the Transport sector.
• Manage climate change proposals for both UK and international clients.

What can you bring

• Degree qualification, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable consultancy experience of climate adaptation and resilience service delivery across the transport sector.
• Experience working with wide-ranging clients and stakeholders in the transport sector.
• Proven bid management, project management and business development competencies regarding climate adaptation and resilience.
• Ability to work as part of a team on complex problems.
• Proven track record of winning work and delivering high quality outputs for clients.
