Meet The Climate Smart Cities Challenge Winning Teams!/

At the begining of this year, and after reviewing nearly 200 proposals, we had the pleasure to announce a total of 45 companies that were selected as finalists for the Climate Smart Cities Challenge. Over past four months these organizations have been able to work with the cities of Bogotá, Bristol, Curitba and Makindye Ssabagabo to fine-tune solutions, adapt to the city context, and form new relationships among each other.

After participating in a team creation phase, a total of 12 newly formed teams have presented their innovative proposals that will accelerate the shift to climate neutral cities. Now, through a three step evaluation process, four winning teams will be carefully selected to demonstrate their solutions, with the ultimate aim of creating better futures in cities around the world.

During a live event, the four winning teams that will share up to 400,000 Euro to leverage further investment and build towards system demonstration in 2023, will be unveiled.
