Net Zero Buildings : Challenges and Resolutions/

Amid growing concerns about rising energy prices, energy independence and the impact of climate change, the construction and building sector in India has emerged as the primary energy consumer in India. The building sector can significantly reduce energy use by designing Net Zero Buildings.

A Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) produces as much energy as it uses over the course of a year, and this has been validated by research too, currently, there are only a small number of highly efficient buildings that meet the criteria to be called “Net Zero” and there is a need for more such buildings.
