This event will explore how material passports can support circular construction and meet with peers in the built environment value chain to support opportunities to grow innovation and collaboration across industry.

Current construction and demolition practices are not circular, and accounts for around one-third of global material consumption and waste. By treating buildings and infrastructure as ‘materials banksand leveraging them as sources of valuable, high quality materials, that can be easily dismantled, recovered, and reused, we can better support a circular construction industry. Materials passports can help enable this by documenting data of materials used in a product or construction, increasing the visibility of materials as an added value and confidence for reuse.
