Assessing whole life Carbon with Level(s)/
Event Detail
Whole life carbon is embodied and operational carbon taken together. It measures the Global
Warming Potential (GWP) contributions of a building along its life cycle from ‘cradle’ (the extraction
of raw materials that are used to construct the building) through to the ‘grave’. EU policy is starting to
address whole life carbon in buildings and a number of different actors within the built environment
sector are setting out roadmaps and quantified strategies. How can Level(s) help you conduct a whole
life carbon assessment of a building?
